Alessandra Rossi has returned to the Yoox Net-a-Porter Group (YNAP) as president of its Off-Season business, which includes YOOX and The Outnet.

Rossi had previously held various roles at YOOX including operations manager and head of buying to commercial director and managing director of YOOX, before she moved to London in April 2015 for family reasons.

She succeeds Luca Martines in the role who had previously reported to her when she was managing director of YOOX. Martines will work with Rossi for a handover period before shifting his attention to developing YNAP's APAC market and will take a seat on the board of the company's Japanese and Hong Kong subsidiary.

Rossi will sit on the YNAP executive team and will report to CEO Federico Marchetti. "I am thrilled to rejoin the company at such an exciting time for our business and the industry. YNAP’s investment places the Off-Season business in a unique position to drive forward the experience for both our customers and brand partners on an even larger global scale," she said.

Marchetti thanked Martines for the "great job" he did for the Off-Season division and welcomed Rossi back to the business. "I am very proud of YNAP’s ability to build a diverse and global workforce that empowers women leaders, and it is my pleasure to welcome Alessandra back as a key contributor to our Executive Team," he said.

"Alessandra’s deep knowledge of the fashion industry and the inner workings of ecommerce, as well as her excellent management skills and entrepreneurial mindset, make her the perfect candidate for this crucial job. I look forward to seeing Off-Season grow and evolve under her leadership," Marchetti added.
