Pentland Brands appoints former Disney exec as new CFO

Pentland Brands, which owns Berghaus, Canterbury, Speedo, Ellesse and Mitre, has appointed Graham Burridge as its new Chief Financial Officer, commencing in August 2023.

Most recently COO and CFO at advertising and public relations company WPP, since February 2022, Burridge spent over 17 years at Disney in various roles, where he departed in 2019 after a year as CEO of Disney Store Europe & Head of Digital Walt Disney Company EMEA.

Earlier in his career he spent four years at Apple, leaving in 1999 as Financial Services and Operations Controller.

In his new role, Burridge will take on the global responsibility of the Pentland Brands finance function, shaping the financial strategy and driving business performance.

As a member of the Pentland Brands executive team, he will also be instrumental in helping the business deliver its ambitious business strategy and market growth plans.

Pentland Brands CEO, Chirag Patel, said: “Graham has a remarkable track record in delivering transformation and growth. This, along with his comprehensive industry knowledge, makes him an invaluable addition to our exec team, and we’re excited to welcome Graham to the Pentland family in August.”
