Nudea partners with Urb-it for sustainable deliveries

Certified B corporation, underwear brand Nudea, has partnered with sustainable logistics company Urb-it to provide sustainable deliveries for UK-based customers.

From November, city-based Nudea customers have the option to select Urb-it during check-out. These last-mile deliveries are carried out by Urb-it’s 100% e-cargo bike fleet of couriers, which reduces noise and air pollution as well as congestion.

Kevin Kviblad, CEO of Urb-it, commented: “We are happy to announce the partnership with fellow B Corp Nudea. It’s another proof point of us executing on our growth strategy into the wider UK e-commerce market, done with a partner, Nudea, who is highly committed to making a positive social and environmental impact.”

Nudea is committed to sustainability, which is why the carbon-positive brand uses easy-fitting tools as well as premium fabrics crafted from recycled yarns. The thoughtfully designed underwear is made in partnership with responsible suppliers who pay fair living wages, produced in GOTS and SLCP fully-certified factories. What’s more, all pieces are packed and delivered in recycled and recyclable packaging.

Priya Downes, Nudea Founder & CEO, added: “We are really excited to be able to offer sustainable last mile deliveries for our customers in partnership with Urb-it. We know from our own life-cycle analysis that customer operations including shipping and returns contributes 30% to our carbon emissions, so being able to help our customers make more environmentally friendly choices means that we can collectively reduce our carbon footprint. Right from the very outset, sustainability has been at the very heart of everything we do at Nudea. The fact that Nudea and Urb-it are both B Corp certified companies is a great indicator that we’re aligned on our strong sustainable ethos.”

This partnership comes after Nudea was recently awarded 'Best Sustainable Underwear Brand' in the Marie Claire 2022 Sustainability Awards, for the brand’s use of eco-conscious materials.
