North Sails launches collaboration outerwear with Slowear

Performance sailing brand North Sails has launched two new outerwear pieces in collaboration with Italian multi-brand retail concept Slowear for the first time, under the title of ‘Urban Breeze’, which was initially teased in June 2023 at Milan Fashion Week.

First up is the ‘Newport Sailor Jacket’, retailing at £420, which is a fresh interpretation of a well-known North Sails windbreaker style, made exclusively for Slowear. It features a breathable, lightweight, three-layer bonded construction with a waterproof and windproof finish and comes in navy, ocean blue and light grey.

Then there’s the double-breasted Amalfi Peacoat (£695) with anchor embossed buttons, made from Olmetex blended cotton with a water-repellent finish. Available in navy and taupe.

North Sails Apparel CEO, Victor Duran, said: "This collaboration represents the union of two timeless menswear brands. It combines the technical craftsmanship and heritage of both brands to redefine our perception of outerwear.

The two designs are now available on both the North Sails and Slowear websites, as well as in selected stores.

Slowear has 30 stores in the world's major cities, including London, Paris, Milan, New York and Tokyo. Its three Slowear Man stores in London are at 15 King’s Road, 25 Marylebone High Street and 58 South Molton Street, selling its own Incotex, Montedoro, Zanone and Glanshirt brands. All three London stores are also now stocking the two North Sails collaboration pieces.
