Mulberry collaborates with designer Stefan Cooke on pre-loved collection

British heritage brand, Mulberry, and London-based designer, Stefan Cooke, today unveiled the latest limited-edition collaboration in the Mulberry Editions series.

This time, the collaboration puts pre-loved styles at the forefront, bringing attention to the British brand’s circularity programme, The Mulberry Exchange.

Stefan Cooke Co-founders, Stefan Cooke and Jake Burt, have put their spin on 27 pre-loved bags, which have been transformed by Mulberry’s artisans into one-off pieces that 'redefine the perception of pre-loved today'.

In their research and design process, Cooke and Burt worked with Mulberry's artisans at The Rookery, one of the brand's two carbon-neutral Somerset factories.

Utilising deadstock leathers, the designs embody four of Stefan Cooke’s design codes: Bows, Swing, Braid, and Slash. The designs also feature signature Stefan Cooke embellishments, such as jumbo tassels made from upcycled rugby shirts.

The co-branded capsule will be available to buy at Mulberry’s first pre-loved pop-up shop, which will be open to the public from 16-25 September on Poland Street in Soho, London. The space will also feature a selection of vintage Mulberry icons that have been restored by the brand’s Lifetime Service Team.

The collection was unveiled as part of the Stefan Cooke SS24 show today during London Fashion Week. Prices start from £1195 for Mulberry x Stefan Cooke collaboration one-off pieces and £200 for Mulberry Pre-Loved pieces.
