Method Man stars in new Moose Knuckles AW22 ‘Icons in Icons’ campaign
Canadian luxury outerwear brand Moose Knuckles has just launched a new campaign for AW22 called ‘Icons in Icons’, featuring Method Man of hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan and actress Natasha Lyonne, star of Netflix hits ‘Orange Is the New Black’ and ‘Russian Doll’.
The pair are considered by Moose Knuckles as two cultural icons who are described as “creative instigators that embody the brand in their own ways with their rule-breaking perspectives and iconic artistries”.
Moose Knuckles Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Victor Luis, said: “It's a dream come true for the brand to partner with Method Man and Natasha Lyonne to celebrate our Icons collection. We’ve created the ultimate synergy combining their legacies and our label’s foundation.
“Both are powerful forces and originators in their respective fields making them perfect choices as the faces of the campaign.”
The ‘Icons’ collection consists of revamped Moose Knuckles hero pieces for men and women, including the ‘Stirling Parka’, ‘3Q Jacket’, ‘Ballistic Bomber’ and, for the first time, a vest option - the ‘Montreal Vest’ for men and the ‘Lexington Vest’ for women.
The campaign was shot by acclaimed photographer Luis Alberto Rodriguez and styled by fashion editor and stylist Carlos Nazario. In the campaign video, Method Man boldly proclaims: “Icon: When you do something well and it keeps going after you’re not here, that’s when it becomes iconic.”
