Mango has reaffirmed its commitment to quality and tailoring with a new menswear collection, designed in collaboration with Italian clothing brand Boglioli.

The first edition of 'Mango designed by Boglioli' combines the "tradition and craftsmanship of the emblematic Italian brand with the contemporary character of Barcelona".

It reinvents the Boglioli blazer with eight garments that summarise the shared passion of the two brands.

Working with Italian fabrics, the garments boast materials such as flannel and wool-knit, and are named after Italian cities: Cremona, Lodi, Milano, Mantova, Brescia, Como, Monza and Lecco.

The designs, featuring different intensities of brown, green and grey tones, also include prints such as pinstripe and tweed.

The collaboration collection comes as Mango Man celebrates its fifteenth anniversary, after seeing "strong" growth in recent years in terms of turnover, stores and international expansion.

The menswear category expects to finish this year with a record turnover of over £283 million (€325m), almost double the figure of £147 million (€169m) achieved in 2020.

It also expects to close 2023 with over 560 stores in 90 countries, as well as an online presence in over 80 markets.

"Omnichannel retailing has been the catalyst for the success of Mango Man, with close to 70% of turnover in 2022 originating from its physical stores, and the remainder from its online channel," read a statement from Mango.
