Luxury resale platform Lampoo launches London store

Luxury fashion resale platform Lampoo is opening its new retail store in London, the brand's first-ever physical retail space in the UK.

With hopes to bring the boutique experience to resale, the store, which is located on 31 King Road, will provide eco-conscious consumers with the opportunity to buy and sell authenticated pre-loved designer pieces from brands like Chanel, Gucci, Balenciaga and Dior.

Additionally, consumers will be offered in-person advice from luxury experts working in-store and will be able to bookselling appointments to valuate their pre-loved items.

Lampoo's Founder Enrico Trombioni commented: "The UK is the largest luxury fashion market in Europe so it was natural for us to start our international expansion here. The influence London itself has on the fashion industry makes our presence in the British capital more relevant than ever.

"London will be the perfect setting for Lampoo, considering the variety of services we offer both online and offline."

Established in 2020, Lampoo manages the consignment process for buyers and sellers, including inspection, authentication, and secure storage. Last year, the Milan-based company raised more than £5 million (€6 million) that will allow it to focus on implementing its technology, as well as enlarging its retail network.
