To celebrate the British heritage brand’s 25th anniversary, Lulu Guinness is next to sit in The Industry’s infamous hot seat, interviewed by legendary fashion journalist and Industry member, Hilary Alexander. Still as involved in her brand as the day she founded it, the iconic handbag designer will exclusively share her story to fashion professionals at the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design on the 30th April.

Twenty-five years in business is no small feat, especially as an independent. In an industry where designers, celebrities and trends can come and go in a season, how have Lulu’s playful designs defied the ephemeral nature of fashion, survived the demise of the ‘IT’ bag and surpassed their working purpose to become of the most cherished, collectable accessory brands on the market?
