Lanuuk expands offering with modest activewear

Modest fashion and swimwear brand, Lanuuk, has debuted its first collection of athleisure wear with five timeless styles. 

The brand introduces Lanuuk Athletic, providing modest coverage without ‘compromising on fashion and functionality’. After Founders Ayesha Mahomed and Katleya Nielsen felt disenfranchised by the formless designs and lack of luxury that existed in most modest sportswear, they decided to take it into their own hands. Pulling inspiration from their swimwear collection, the Founders began work to bridge the gap between modest dressing and elegant styles to provide solutions to customers requiring more coverage.

Crafted from functional four-way stretch fabric, each design has been crafted with movement in mind. What's more, the material boasts sweat-releasing, moisture-absorbing and quick-drying properties to 'empower your every move'.

Featuring five signature styles, in sizes XS-3XL, the collection embodies Lanuuk’s ambition to create a diverse selection of inclusive, premium and ethical products. Prices range from £39.99 for the yoga tunic to £69.99 for a zip-up hooded jacket.

Ayesha Mahomed, Lanuuk’s Co-Founder, commented: “Lanuuk Athletic stems from our desire to combine fashion and functionality to create a capsule collection that can be worn every day to allow women to move with ease – whether that is for a workout or for running errands. The focus is on creating easy-to-wear styles, in flattering silhouettes using functional fabrics in a range of classic colours.
