Klarna reports Harry Style's new video sparks 360% increase in men’s jumpsuits purchases
Harry Styles has brought 70’s flare back to men's fashion after releasing his latest music video "As It Was", according to new data from global payments and shopping platform Klarna.
His latest single, which saw Styles spinning around in a sparkly red jumpsuit, has got men rethinking their fashion options, with interest in red two-pieces and playsuits doubling in demand.
Klarna said the data shows a 360% increase in shoppers purchasing jumpsuits following the release this month, compared to the last three months. As well as jumpsuits, playsuit purchases have also jumped by 47%.
The data also reveals that 55% of men are buying red two-pieces to add to their wardrobe this spring.
Emily Thomas, Consumer Communications at Klarna, said: "This isn’t the first time that Harry has turned heads with his fashion choices. He’s daring and certainly not one to shy away from bold choices, and we love that he’s inspiring people across the UK to try new styles.
