Kate Spade New York launches its holiday 2022 campaign

Inspired by the scenes of a downtown New York festive party, Kate Spade has unveiled its holiday 2022 campaign featuring an array of jewelled handbags and accessories.

Fusing downtown NYC party vibes with hints of bejewelled uptown glamour, Kate Spade New York’s latest launch captures the magic of the concrete jungle in which it's set. This collection's theme is 'candy' reflected in everything from the colour palette to the embellishments and motifs.

Jenny Campbell, Chief Marketing Officer of Kate Spade New York, commented: “Our Holiday 2022 campaign sets the scene for a festive occasion that’s glamorous yet intimate, polished but undone, and we’re inviting our community to celebrate with us. We were inspired by the idea of friends coming together for a night of glitz and glam in downtown New York, culminating in a late-night bite on a city stoop… what’s more New York than that!”

Launching in 1993 with a collection of six handbags, the brand continues to stand out for its wit and femininity. This season, the campaign is a collection of snapshots that immerse you in the party scene. The models featured are dressed to the nines in their holiday best, from '80s-inspired suits to vibrant cocktail dresses, nodding to the brand’s playful aesthetic. Graphic designs represent “old New York,” while novelty shapes that mimic champagne pops and candies are inspired by this season’s handbags.

The covetable silhouettes featured, such as the decadently updated Sam Icon handbag, will be available to purchase in stores and at, with new styles continuing to roll out throughout the festive period.
