British supermodel Kate Moss has unveiled her second campaign for Diet Coke, for whom she acts as creative director, in which she pays homage to the iconic 'Diet Coke Break' ads of the 00s and 90s.

To create the campaign, which encourages fans to the fizzy diet drink to "Love What You Love", Moss was given access to the brand's archive for inspiration, and Dres on the celebrated '11:30 Break' as her source of creativity.

Moss was appointed as creative director at Diet Coke a year ago and has appeared in ads and on cans of the drink in a high profile campaign. The brand also supported London Fashion Week and The Fashion Awards last year to cement its fashion credentials.

Speaking about the latest campaign, Moss said: “Last year was such an incredible experience, so when we collaborated on Season 2, the brand’s archives were an amazing place to start. The Diet Coke Breaks are classics, and I wanted to add a fashion twist to these moments. The campaign is very different aesthetically to the ‘90s and ‘00s but the narrative is the same. It’s all about a pause to love what you love and indulge yourself in that moment, without taking yourself too seriously. I’m excited to unveil the new campaign soon!”

In the latest campaign Moss recreates 'Chains', the 1994 Diet Coke Break. The original ad featured a chiselled construction worker on a building site. In Moss's version she is wearing a gown designed by close friend and legendary stylist, Katy England in a high-fashion tribute to the pioneering tv ad.

She has also re-imaged 'Appointment' from 1997 (main image) in which Moss is photographed against the London skyline in a shimmering, vintage silver chainmail gown. It is a recreation of the window washer moment from 1997.

Sean Kellett, Partnerships & Assets Senior Manager Europe at The Coca‑Cola Company commented: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Kate Moss as Creative Director. Last year, we took inspiration from Kate’s unrivalled archives to celebrate our shared love of fashion. In Season 2, we have given Kate access to Diet Coke’s legacy to create something visually stunning and unexpected, with a Diet Coke wink. With Kate’s vision, this summer we will continue to inspire fans to embrace an unapologetic attitude to ‘Love What You Love’.
