Joe Browns appoints Michael Truluck as Chairman to aid ambitious growth plans

Leeds-based fashion and home retailer, Joe Browns, has today announced that Michael Truluck will take the helm of the company as Chairman with immediate effect.

This new role marks Truluck’s first Chair position. He recently stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer of La Redoute International to spend more time with his family in Yorkshire and to build a non-exec portfolio.

Michael Truluck, commented: “I join at probably the most exciting time in the brand's 25-year history. This appointment comes as the company embarks on ambitious growth plans to find ten new stores by 2024. In 2023, it has opened a new franchisee-operated store in Bowness on Windermere. The retailer also completed a £2 million warehouse upgrade to support growth and released its first  Christmas TV advert.
