In Pictures: Very drops Michelle Keegan’s 40th collection

British soap star Michelle Keegan has launched her 40th fashion collection with online retailer Very. The collection features "dreamy summer styles" - think crochet, broderie and neutral-toned tailoring.

The new summer collection, which was teased on Instagram back in January, contains the building blocks for a capsule summer wardrobe.

"I can’t believe it’s my 40th collection already. It’s amazing to look back on all my previous ranges, my style has evolved so much over the years. I used to try and include more statement pieces and brighter colours, whereas now I love to create pieces that can form a capsule wardrobe to create a range of looks. I like to make sure I can always style a look for many different occasions and that the collections are always versatile – whether it be a work event, drinks at the pub, a fancy dinner, or just running errands," Keegan said.

"There are still a few similarities throughout my collections. I’ve always loved crochet, so this is an element I try to incorporate where I can – one of my favourites from my latest collection is the green crochet high-neck top, which I already know I’ll be getting a lot of wear out of this summer."

The collection, which is available online at Very, was shot against a tropical backdrop, perfectly aligning with the new summer collection. Prices range from £15 for a crinkle bandeau top to £70 for a cut-out embroidered dress.
