In Pictures: Knitwear label &Daughter celebrates 10 years with 10 pieces
Knitwear specialists, &Daughter, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a new collection titled '10 Years 10 Pieces'. The range celebrates the brand’s founding premise to create knitwear with a long lifespan.
The collection, made from high quality natural yarns, highlights ten defining pieces that make up an essential knit wardrobe. Each piece, which sits around the £300 price mark, aims to 're-craft the idea of a classic knit'.
The brand works in partnership with Scottish and Irish makers, who utilise a legacy of skill and craftsmanship passed through generations, to create the knitwear it's renowned for.
Buffy Reid, Creative Director & Co-founder of &Daughter, commented: "A classic knit is not a knit that doesn't change, but one that changes imperceptibly over time as our own tastes and ways of dressing change. Since launching &Daughter ten years ago, our intent has been to interrogate and re-frame what makes something 'classic' or 'essential' in a real sense.
"How does a jumper become a true companion piece in a wardrobe? What we always come back to is quality and detail; from the length of a sleeve, the softness of a yarn or the shade of a particular colour, it is the continual refinement of all the small things that has come to define the brand."
