H&M is spotlighting an emerging artist as part of its high-anticipated designer collaboration series. This time, Rokh, Korean designer Rok Hwang’s label, will be bringing its experimental spins on wardrobe staples to H&M’s customers.

Before establishing his eponymous brand in 2017, Rok was a ready-to-wear designer for Céline under Phoebe Philo. In 2018, the designer won the LVMH prize and has since continued to create familiar yet unique renditions of classic silhouettes.

Spanning womenswear, menswear and accessories, the collection will be available online and in stores from 18 April 2024. Dover Street Market will exclusively sell a curated selection of pieces ahead of the launch on 16 April.

Spotlight silhouettes include detachable-hem dresses, double-layer trench coats and office-inspired handbags.

Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor and Head of Design Womenswear at H&M, said: "Rokh is at the forefront of a new wave of Korean designers whose conceptual-yet-wearable clothes are captivating fashion right now. We are proud to present a curated edit of designer Rok Hwang’s adaptable wardrobe classics and we can't wait to see how our customers wear them."

Rok Hwang, Creative Director at Rokh, added: "Rokh designs have a classic appearance with a radical construction for a timeless approach to design. I’m very excited to share our vision with more customers around the world thanks to this milestone collection with H&M."
