Simone Rocha and Crocs debuted their 'more is more' collaborative footwear collection on the runway at London Fashion Week.

Crocs, which recently came back into the zeitgeist, has transformed its reputation from creating fashion faux pas to a fashion forward statements. Now, the global footwear brand has stepped onto the runway after collaboration with the luxury fashion house Simone Rocha.

The collection, which is bound to become beloved by Crocs' cult following, explores ‘the juxtaposition between femininity and utilitarianism’. Combining Crocs’ DNA with Rocha’s luxe design aesthetic, the partnership is introducing three new silhouettes – the Siren, the Classic Clog and the Quick Trail.

The Siren features a platform heel, for those who prefer some height, the Classic Clog is as expected and the Quick Tail takes the form of a trainer.

Simone Rocha, the namesake fashion label established in 2010 by Irish designer Simone Rocha, redefines femininity. Rocha is renowned for ability to create clothes that reflect the modern romantic.

Her designs often feature intricate embroidery and unexpected textures, which is where the rubbery Crocs and mixed-material Jibbitz walk in. All three silhouettes from the collection are rendered in neutral tones and are, as expected, doused in heavy embellishments from oversized pearls to chunky diamantes.

The Simone Rocha x Croc collection will be available in Spring 2024. Retail pricing is yet to be confirmed.

This news follows a slew of Crocs collaborations. Recently, the brand collaborated with luxury brand MCM.
