In Pictures: Burberry signs a slew of stars for its latest campaign

After securing a top-notch A-list front row at London Fashion Week, Burberry’s Spring 2024 campaign features a similar jam-packed cast of household names and instantly recognisable faces.

At September’s London Fashion Week, held at Kennington Park, Kylie Minogue, Rachel Weisz, Sir Mo Farah and Jodie Comer were among the stars who turned out in Burberry to watch the British fashion house's show. There were plenty of stars, both in terms of the models and the looks shown, on the catwalk too.

The runway was as star-studded as the front row, with some of the biggest names in British fashion on the catwalk. Adwoa Aboah was joined by models Neelam Gill, Leomie Anderson, Liberty Ross and Jean Campbell among others.

As for the new Spring 2024 campaign, shot by Tyrone Lebon, it features a slew of stars including Amelie Steele, Bukayo Saka, Damon Albarn, He Cong, Iris Law, Jessie Buckley, Jourdan Dunn, Jun Ji-Hyun, King Krule, Matthew Ball, Naomi Janumala, Neneh Cherry, Rachel Weisz, Rakim Janneh, Ramla Ali, Rittika Ray, Slew, Son Heung-Min, Stevie Sims and Tems.

Each is decked out in monochromatic Burberry checks, 'Knight Blue' ensembles and monogrammed leather goods. Not only are the looks reflective of Burberry's British heritage but so are the backdrops. The classically British settings include cobbled London streets, overgrown canal walkways and aristocratic townhouses. The shots are each stamped with Lee’s revamped Equestrian Knight logo.

This season, outfits are a much more classic take on the Burberry aesthetic. Lee’s first season received mixed reviews, with some saying Lee strayed from the brand’s DNA and introduced too many quirky elements, such as woollen hats that looked like ducks and hot water bottles used as bags.

This time around, Lee put the focus on Burberry’s signature product, the trench coat. Alongside more traditional cuts, he reimagined the style in multiple ways – with sleeveless versions, cropped styles and a bomber-trench hybrid.
