Luxury Italian label Aquazzura, has transformed a three-story townhouse in the heart of London into its newest flagship store, home to its footwear, bags, jewellery, and homeware collections.

Located in London’s affluent neighbourhood of New Bond Street, the new store tells the brand’s story though interior design. The boutique, which opened its doors last week, was envisioned by Edgardo Osorio, Founder and Creative Director of 2012-founded Aquazzura, and brought to life by Marie-Anne Oudejans, Dutch artist and interior designer.

The exterior of the building features an all-white façade that oozes with historical flair. Osorio and Oudejans opted for a Mediterranean-inspired palette for the interiors - think aqua, pink and yellow, accented by the brand’s stripe motif. Each floor embraces a distinct colour scheme, showcasing hand-painted decorations throughout.

On entry, customers are greeted by a handmade faux orange tree and the brand’s signature palette, enriched by nature-inspired detailing. However, the stripped back, graphic black and white displays place the footwear collection in the spotlight.

The first floor embraces countless shades of pink, while glass displays are used to showcase the latest handbag and jewellery collections.

A vibrant shade of yellow illuminates the second and last floor, home to Aquazzura Casa’s colourful textiles, timeless porcelain and contemporary table accessories.

Edgardo Osorio commented: “It's a dream come true to open a little oasis of Italian style on New Bond Street. I wanted the new boutique Aquazzura to be full of small personal details, such as a part of my archive of sketches, and to bring joy to the street. Each floor has its own personality and colour palette.”
