In Pictures: Admiral Sportswear joins forces with Macade Golf for The Open
Heritage sportswear manufacturer, Admiral Sportswear, has joined forces with the Swedish golf specialist, Macade Golf, on a course-ready collection inspired by both brands’ sporting expertise.
Blending Macade's understanding of golf performance wear and Admiral’s extensive archive of patterns and designs, the collaboration is made up of a home and away shirt.
The home shirt is rendered in a subtly striped Aubergine design and the away shirt features a two-tone Khaki/Blue colourway with orange hints. What's more, the classic Admiral 1⁄4 zip undergoes the Macade treatment, with its script logo and playful ‘golf’ mock sponsor on the chest.
The collection also includes a Green zip Jacket, the design of which is inspired by an archival Admiral piece produced for the US Golf Association in the 1970s.
It will launch at The Open in Liverpool on 16 July, where Ryder Cup team member and 10x DP World Tour winner Alex Norén will be sporting looks from the collection.
