In Pictures: Adidas teams up with Vintage Threads on ‘Predator’ inspired reworked collection
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of its iconic ‘Predator’ football boots, as worn by the likes of David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane, Adidas has teamed up with pre-loved clothing retailer Vintage Threads on a 12-piece collection of one-of-a-kind reworked garments.
Drawing inspiration from the Adidas archives and Predator boots from the 90s and noughties, the collection includes vests and cross body bags crafted from damaged vintage Predator boots, as well as the ‘Predator Boot Padded Jacket’ - set to retail at £420.
There are also unique sweaters made from old football scarves, and technical trousers incorporating goalkeeping gloves, as well as and an early 90s Arsenal tribute tailored suit.
The collection, which also falls in line with the launch of the new ‘Predator 24’ boots, is being unveiled at 5pm this evening at a pop-up event at the Adidas flagship store at 425 Oxford Street in London, and will be accompanied by a curated collection of over 100 football shirts and merchandise.
