Hugo Boss predicted as most sought-after brand for Black Friday

New data from fashion sales website Love The Sales has revealed that the most popular brand for Black Friday deals is predicted to be Hugo Boss.

The website has a shortlist feature that allows users to save their favourite products and get alerted when those items go on sale, helping them find the best price for their favourite products.

Hugo Boss has 13,495 products shortlisted – the highest of any brand – followed by Adidas with 9,208, Nike with 7,384, Ralph Lauren with 5,874, and Armani with 5,075. Completing the top ten brands shortlisted in order are Tommy Hilfiger, Karen Millen, Dune, Regatta and Michael Kors.

Stuart McClure, Founder and CEO of Love The Sales, said: “According to data from Finder, Brits plan to spend an estimated £3 billion in the 2023 Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. The average spend per person on Black Friday 2023 is predicted to be £113, as consumers flock to their favourite sites to get the latest deals.

“With this in mind, to help customers secure a deal before anyone else, we have predicted the most in demand brands and products to get ahead of the game. By looking at our shortlist data, we have revealed that Hugo Boss is the top runner in being the most popular brand over Black Friday with its BOSS Orange ‘Passerby’ men’s long sleeve polo shirt being the most in demand product of the season.

“That’s followed by Adidas, with its men’s ‘ZX 5K Boost’ trainers, and Nike, with its women’s Air Force 1 Low being the most shortlisted products from each.”

With over 13,000 shortlists on Love The Sales, shoes are the most popular product category in the run-up to Black Friday, with trainers coming in second with over 6,600 products on the shortlist feature. The third most popular category is hoodies and sweatshirts, with 5,762 products shortlisted.

While the BOSS Orange ‘Passerby’ long sleeve polo shirt has been revealed as the most popular product, covering 5% of all polo shirts shortlisted, the second most shortlisted product is the Michael Kors ‘Kincaid Logo Studded Combat Boot’. The combat boots cover 6.4% of all boots shortlisted on the website in the run-up to Black Friday.

The third most popular product is the women’s Nike Air Force 1 Low, which covers 6.35% of all trainers shortlisted on the website.
