Happy Socks appoints new CEO to lead brand through “next phase of growth”

Swedish sock brand Happy Socks has this week announced the appointment of Alexander Meyer as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Meyer will be responsible for driving the overall strategic vision and next phase of growth of Happy Socks, following a brand refresh.

His most recent position was as Chief Customer Officer at The Bay, Canada’s largest omni-channel retailer and North America’s oldest brand, where he spent two years.

Prior to that he was Chief Marketing Officer at Australian online fashion and sports retailer, The Iconic, from 2016 to 2021. Other previous senior marketing roles have been at Quiksilver and Vans.

Christian Beck, Chairman of the Board at Happy Socks, said: "We are delighted to welcome Alexander to the Happy Socks family. His impressive track record in the consumer and fashion industries make him an ideal fit for Happy Socks.
