Crocs teams and Musician Jacob Collier to create first-ever music-making clogs

Cult-favourite footwear brand, Crocs, adds to its ever-growing list of collaborations, this time it teamed up with singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jacob Collier.

The global footwear brand, together with the musician, has created the first-ever music-making Croc clog in the run-up to the release of the Musician's new single 'WELLLL'. The limited-edition Jacob Collier X Crocs Classic Clog is the first-ever design that invites wearers to make music - note the bell detail attached to the back strap of the shoe.

The partnership celebrates the synergy between Jacob’s unapologetic personal style – hence the bright geometric patterns that adorn the shoe – and the brand’s mantra of "Come as You Are" which is centred around self-expression and creativity.

What’s more, Collier’s playful music video nods to his recent collaboration, featuring a set built from enlarged Jibbitz charms.

Yann Le Bozec, Vice President of Marketing EMEA-LATAM at Crocs, commented: "Collaborating on a project with an artist so intrinsically aligned with Crocs’ brand values has been incredibly exciting. We’re thrilled to partner with a playful and charismatic artist like Jacob on a collaboration that champions individuality, creativity and self-expression."

In addition, Jacob will invite his fans to "come as they are" and add their own musical twist to the song via an online challenge. A handful of participants will be enrolled in a prize draw to win a pair of tickets to a Jacob Collier concert and a pair of the limited-edition Crocs. What's more, the retailer is also donating €1 per participant to an organisation that supports music education.

Commenting on the collaboration, Collier said: "I’ve been walking, living, learning, creating and performing in Crocs Clogs since Crocs began, so it’s an absolute dream come true to be bringing my own Crocs collaboration out into the world!"

The Jacob Collier X Crocs collaboration will be available for purchase globally on 20 July from 4 pm.
