London Fashion Week designer Conner Ives has launched his own Depop shop with a capsule collection of upcycled accessories and clothing available to purchase exclusively on the fashion resale platform.

Designed and produced in London, the collection includes a two piece t-shirt and skirt set featuring hand-drawn motifs, alongside bracelets and necklaces made with Murano glass beads and pendants. The collection has been produced in a limited run and will be exclusively available on the official Conner Ives Depop shop.

The launch is part of a wider collaboration between the esteemed designer (pictured above) and Depop to bring upcycled, exclusive pieces to the platform’s fashion-conscious users, and show that what’s old can be made new again. Since 2021, Depop users have given a "second life" to 25 million items that already existed, and has enabled tens of thousands of individuals to make an income from circular fashion.

Earlier this year, Ives partnered with some of Depop’s sellers to source bulk raw material for his SS24 collection ‘Late Capitalism’, elevating the identity of re-generated items which were shown on a virtual runway during London Fashion Week, modelled by muse Alex Consani.

Ives said of the venture: “With all my work, I aim to confront the fast fashion cycle head-on – returning to craft and the concept of making clothes with friends, for friends. As a lover and advocate of circular fashion, I’m so proud to launch my exclusive RTW Depop capsule collection, offering fashion fans a taste of Conner Ives and making truly circular garments a bit more accessible.”

Steve Dool, Director of Brand and Marketing at Depop added: ‘Young designers are a critical part of fashion’s future, and we’re so excited to partner with Conner Ives to bring unique circular fashion to our community. Making circular fashion more accessible is at the core of what we do at Depop, and we hope through this collaboration we can reach and inspire more people to look to different fashion options that are kinder to the planet.”

Born and raised in Bedford, New York, Ives came to London in 2014 to study at Central Saint Martins. He now works from his London-based studio where he crafts many of his collections from dead-stock or vintage garments.
