Multi-charity pre-loved fashion retailer Charity Super.Mkt is bringing its 'second-hand department store' pop-up concept to Gloucester Quays outlet shopping centre for six weeks on 14 March 2024.

The 4,000 sq ft space will house a selection of hand-picked fashion gems across vintage denim, sports and streetwear, as well as accessories, from a rolling rotation of charities including Traid, Havens Hospices, Longfield Hospice, and Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Wayne Hemingway, Co-founder of Charity Super.Mkt, said: "Charity Super.Mkt has proved in its first year that second-hand charity fashion can sit comfortably with high street and designer brands.

"From some of the UK’s busiest shopping centres to world renowned streets such as London’s Bond Street, Charity Super.Mkt has matched the turnover, brought in new customers and increased footfall.

"Now we move onto Gloucester Quays and are looking forward to working in a new city and welcoming its residents to experience charity retail in a way they have never seen it before."

Paul Carter, Asset Director at Gloucester Quays landlord Peel L&P, who organised the space for the multi-charity concept, added: "Charity Super.Mkt will be a fantastic addition to Gloucester Quays. Its huge success and growth in the past year or so mirrors our own, both down to a real understanding of consumer shopping motivations.

"Pre-loved fashion is a sector that is expanding quickly, and it sits naturally within an outlet environment, which is why we were so keen to introduce Charity Super.Mkt into our tenant mix. It will slot right in and absolutely appeal to our dedicated customer base."

Following its first bricks-and-mortar format at Brent Cross in early 2023, which was "so popular it hit its four-week target in just four days", Charity Super.Mkt has gone on to pop-up at a number of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations, with one at Fenwick on London's Bond Street being the most recent.
