British sportswear brand Castore has opened a new 1,690 sq ft flagship store in the Grafton Buildings at 34 Grafton Street in Dublin, described as "the first-of-its-kind" as the brand prepares to roll out a further 24 stores across the UK this year.

There are also plans to update its existing store portfolio with the upscaled new design.

Castore already has a firm footing in the Irish market, as it is the official kit supplier to both the men’s and women’s national football teams, as well as Leinster rugby club.

Joining other fashion retailers such as Jigsaw and Sweaty Betty on Grafton Street, which it describes as "one of Europe’s busiest shopping streets", the new Castore store is split across two levels, featuring teamwear from Leinster, FAI, McLaren, and Red Bull, alongside mainline stock including its recent Reiss x Castore SS24 collaboration.

Will Clarke, Chief Merchandising and Operating Officer at Castore, said: "As part of our growth expansion, we are thrilled to be opening our first concept store in Grafton Street – this offers a physical platform to showcase our products in an interactive way.

"It’s a very exciting time for Castore, as we’re determined to continue this growth trajectory and position the brand as a key player in the retail sports market."
