18 August 2017

Luxury womenswear brand Beulah London is set to open a pop-up store on Sloane Street for six months in the run-up to Christmas and through to February.

The brand, which was founded to support vulnerable women through employment, will sell its AW17 collection in the store, the concept for which was inspired by the roots of the brand in India.

Hand painted wall murals and furnishings, created in Beulah’s AW17 charity prints which are the same fabrics used in the AW17 collection, will feature in the interior design. In addition in the run up to Anti-Slavery Day in October images featuring women who have been victims of human trafficking will feature on the walls in a collaboration with illustrator and publisher of the biannual Herself magazine LulaHerself.

A Bless It Forward tie

Beulah will also be selling in store and online Bless It Forward scarves that have been hand printed and embroidered in India. Made in collaboration with The Women’s Interlink Foundation and Key to Freedom, each silk tie tells the story of one woman’s journey to freedom.

One tie provides employment for one woman, for one day and by providing her with employment she is able to create an alternative sustainable livelihood for herself, the brand says. With every silk tie purchased, customers will receive another to "Bless It Forward" and give to someone they love and want to bless.

Best known for its printed dresses, the Beulah London collection also features separates and outerwear and it also provides a made to measure, custom colour and bridal service from its store on Ebury Street in Belgravia.
