Adanola preps for growth with new Manchester HQ

Adanola, the social-first activewear brand, has announced that it's up and moving its headquarters to a new and improved space in Manchester, which is nearly three times the size of its previous hub.

Previously, the brand's HQ was situated in an office space within the Empress (Business Centre) in Manchester. Remaining in the same city - also home to Missguided and Shein - Adanola has taken over two floors of the Grade-II listed office block Dantzic in the Noma district.

The new office will house Adanola’s 63 staff members and covers 13,000 square metres of space. Spread across the two floors, there will be an in-house café, restaurant, content suite and event spaces.

Adanola founder Hyrum Cook led the creative vision for the space. He commented: "This is a major new chapter in the evolution of our business and we needed to create a space that embodied the innovative spirit of Adanola, which is recognised as a leading brand in the fitness apparel industry."

The Adanola team has "grown substantially over the last few years" and will continue to do so in line with its growth plans. Plans include further US expansion over the coming year, as well as evolving its digital capabilities and further growing its retail partner portfolio. Adanola is currently stocked at Harrods, Selfridges, Flannels and END.

This announcement coincides with the appointment of Niran Chana as Chief Executive Officer to drive the brand’s international expansion. Prior to this, Chana was the Chief Commercial Officer at Gymshark.

Hyrum Cook, who is stepping down from the CEO role after nine years, founded Manchester-based Adanola in 2012. The company has since reported a 311% increase in turnover for the financial year 2022 to 2023. Cook is pivoting to a more "creative role within the business".
