Acting chairman of Debenhams Terry Duddy is reported to have been shortlisted for the role of chairman at menswear retailer Moss Bros.
According to Sky News, Duddy is one of the favourites to take over from incumbent Debbie Hewitt who plans to stand down later this year.
Seasoned retail professional Duddy, who is the former CEO of Home Retail Group, has only just taken on the role at Debenhams having been drafted in to replace Sir Ian Cheshire who was ousted from the role after the chain's biggest shareholder Mike Ashley of Sports Direct voted him off the board.
Duddy subsequently resigned from property group Hammerson where he has been senior independent director, due to his increased workload.
