Zara unveils premium in-house label, Zara Atelier

Zara has introduced a new in-house label, Zara Atelier, which focuses on high-end design and exquisite craftsmanship.

The new label, which will drop two limited collections each year, is designed by Zara's in-house team with each collection offering an "elevated, artistic interpretation of an iconic wardrobe staple".

The first collection, which drops today, consists of six outerwear styles with with couture touches, including marabou-trimmed collars and sequin-embroidered lapel detailing. Highlights include an ankle-length cape coat embroidered with oriental-inspired floral designs and velvet appliqué, an A-line dressing-gown style in lurex and candlewick jacquard with a removable faux-fur shearling shawl collar and antique gold pyramid studs.

The collection also features crafted ponchos and overcoat styles for the day, with embellishments and embroidered mixed with modern, wearable shapes.

Each Zara Atelier style will be produced in limited quantities and will be available on Zara.com and in selected stores from 9 December. Prices range from £259 to £349.
