Zara to open new flagship store at St David’s in Cardiff

Zara is gearing to open a new 36,500 sq ft flagship store at St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff this summer, selling its full range of menswear, womenswear and accessories over two levels.

Located on Upper Grand Arcade in the shopping centre, the store will be opposite Morphe Cosmetics, also opening this summer. St David’s is already home to Zara’s sister Inditex brands Bershka and Stradivarius, which both opened in 2019.

The new store adds to Zara’s line-up of recently launched global flagships, including at Bluewater, and also in Dubai and Barcelona.

The new store format includes omni-channel retail integration, with an automated collection point for customers to make swift product collection, while driving additional footfall to the store. Self-service and dedicated refund tills will also help to ensure a seamless customer experience.

As part of this latest Landsec signing, Hollister has relocated and upsized into a new 12,100 sq ft store – featuring their lingerie collection, Gilly Hicks – further along Grand Arcade.
