Zalando strengthens SVP leadership with three new appointments

Fashion giant Zalando has announced three additions to the company’s SVP leadership team, including two internal promotions and one newly established SVP role.

Anne Pascual has been promoted to SVP Product Design, having joined Zalando in March 2017. In her new role, she will be responsible for translating the Zalando Group Strategy into an inspiring, uniting and leading digital experience.

Jim Freeman, CTO said: "With Anne as SVP Product Design, we are looking forward to next-level digital experience solutions that make a difference to our customers and create memorable moments".

Astrid Arndt has been promoted to SVP People & Organization, having joined the company in February 2018. In her new position, she will be responsible for further shaping Zalando's culture and people management.

Robert Gentz, Co-CEO at Zalando said: "Talent and our entrepreneurial culture are Zalando’s most valuable resources and key to become The Starting Point for Fashion. As SVP People & Organization, Astrid will further develop our organisation and help us find and retain the right talent".

Bruno Vanhoorickx will join Zalando as SVP Corporate Development on March 1, directly reporting to co-CEO Rubin Ritter. In this newly established role, he will be responsible for identifying, preparing and executing disruptive moves that will help Zalando deliver on the existing platform strategy and beyond. Bruno Vanhoorickx is currently working for Bain Capital in London.
