Zalando reappoints COO as Chief Business and Product Officer exits

Zalando has announced the departure of its Chief Business and Product Officer Jim Freeman on 31 March 2023.

Freeman, who first joined Zalando in 2018 as SVP Technology, will work closely with the management board on his handover and "remain close to the company thereafter".

Zalando said Freeman has played an "instrumental part" in developing Zalando’s strategy focused on deepening customer relationships.

The announcement coincides with the reappointment of David Schröder as Chief Operating Officer.

Schröder will work to scale Zalando’s European multi-channel logistics network and unlock new growth opportunities, including helping partners to boost their direct-to-consumer business across a variety of channels.
