Founded in 1856, Hunter Boot is a British rubber Wellington boot and footwear brand. Previously known as the North British Rubber Company, the brand also sells bags,\u00a0socks, and other accessories. <\/p>\n
In 2014, Hunter opened its first global flagship store\u00a0in London and the rubber boots have been spotted at music festival throughout the years.<\/p>\n
In 2020, the British bootmaker secured a \u00a316.5m rescue deal to secure its future after its sales were impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The brand's existing backers invested the cash as part of a deal that will see former minority shareholder Pall Mall Legacy become the controlling shareholder.<\/p>\n
