Simon Platts, Responsible Sourcing Director at ASOS<\/a><\/span>, has confirmed his departure from the business after almost 10 years in the role.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Platts joined ASOS<\/a> as Responsible Sourcing Director in July 2013. Prior to this, he served as Head of Buying at Blacks Leisure Group. Platts began his career at NEXT<\/a><\/span>, moving up the ranks from Floor Manager to the role of Sales, Sourcing & Product Development Manager in Asia.<\/p>\n In a post on LinkedIn, Simon Platts said: \"What an amazing time I\u2019ve had over the last nearly 10 years. And what a journey I\u2019ve been on with ASOS. I'm now looking forward, to seeing how I can continue on this journey to influence better in this amazing industry, from a different angle.\"<\/p>\n Last month, ASOS announced the appointment of Scott Millar as it seeks to shore up its financial performance. Dubbed a \"company doctor\", Miller will act as Interim CFO following Katy Mecklenburgh's upcoming departure.<\/p>\n
