Just Around the Corner<\/a> (JATC), run by Juls Dawson, reported a record-breaking number of visitors as it opened the doors to its London edition of AW23 yesterday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marking its seventh season, visitor numbers dramatically increased as a result of its carefully curated brand mix offer. Footfall broke previous records set, with 750 buyers attending the event by its close at 6pm.<\/p>\n

Those in attendance included a range of key buyers from New Look<\/a><\/span>, Fenwick<\/a><\/span>, Hoopers<\/a><\/span>, Debenhams<\/a><\/span>, Urban Outfitters<\/span><\/a>, and ASOS<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Dan Ringer, Managing Director of Stand Out, said: \"It was my first visit to a trade show since covid and it was great to see a buzz again at the show. People want to see new brands and products even though it has been a tough couple of years. I think I have overlooked the practicability of virtual appointments compared to actually looking at the product you forget how important that is even if like us being an online retailer.\"<\/p>\n

Charlotte Woods, Head of Womenswear and Marketing at Love Brands, commented: \"Today started off well with a flurry of customers on the Guess stand immediately when the doors opened.\u00a0It\u2019s been great to see familiar faces, as well as several retailers who are new to JATC.<\/p>\n

\"We\u2019ve found the partnership between JATC and the Danish Embassy has proven to be a fantastic opportunity to promote Nu Denmark for us with orders being written throughout the day. This is also the first time we have presented Karl Lagerfeld Jeans at a show, and we\u2019ve been happy to see buyers responding well to the launch of this diffusion line from the brand.\"<\/p>\n

Jon Doran, Senior Buyer at ASOS, added: \"It\u2019s great to have a trade show on your doorstep that you can visit in an afternoon, especially one that has a good offering of young fashion brands.\"<\/p>\n

The event is the UK\u2019s fastest-growing fashion and lifestyle event in the UK. Just Around The Corner (JATC) is hosted in the UK\u2019s historic manufacturing hub of Manchester and in the heart of East London\u2019s historic fashion district.<\/p>\n

The trade show features 600 brands showing across both shows. This time, it spanned the 1st floor of London\u2019s iconic Truman Brewery.<\/p>\n

Juls Dawson, Founder of JATC, commented: \"Our new Lifestyle and Beauty zone debuted at the show with brands showcasing jewellery, skincare, men's grooming, gifting, home fragrance, and was an area which created a lot of attention and one which we definitely see growth on in upcoming seasons.<\/p>\n

\"Pre-registration is looking good for our last day today and we are confident of a strong turnout once again.\"<\/p>\n
