VF Corporation<\/a><\/span> has today confirmed several new appointments to its leadership team in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.<\/strong> <\/p>\n Martino Scabbia Guerrini has been given an expanded role as Executive Vice President, President EMEA, APAC & Emerging Brands, adding the APAC region to his responsibilities to create even greater opportunities for the VF International businesses across both the EMEA and APAC regions.<\/p>\n This new role will \"enable stronger cohesion and alignment\" across the regional leadership teams and key account management. The role will also further drive how new growth opportunities are activated across EMEA and APAC, according to the group.<\/p>\n Effective 31 January 2023, Mariano Alonso, the current General Manager of Timberland<\/a><\/span> EMEA, will take on the role of General Manager of The North Face<\/a><\/span> EMEA. Nina Flood, currently President, VF Global Packs (Eastpak<\/a>, JanSport<\/a>, and Kipling), will succeed Mariano Alonso as General Manager of Timberland EMEA.<\/p>\n Alonso joined VF in April 2014 as Vice President of Sales for Timberland EMEA and was later named Vice President, General Manager of Timberland EMEA in 2019. During his tenure with the brand, he has played a \"crucial role in driving business growth in EMEA through an intense focus on VF\u2019s core strategies\".<\/p>\n These brand leadership changes come as Jan Van Leeuwen, the current General Manager of The North Face EMEA, has been appointed as General Manager of the Americas for The North Face.<\/p>\n As the global leader for VF\u2019s three packs brands, Flood has been \"instrumental\" in developing a portfolio approach for VF Global Packs, driving strategic priorities for the brands and regions, and returning the brands to profitable growth.<\/p>\n
