{"id":219216,"date":"2022-11-07T09:30:34","date_gmt":"2022-11-07T09:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/?p=219216"},"modified":"2022-11-07T20:06:18","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T20:06:18","slug":"n-brown-appoints-joules-head-of-design-helen-low-as-new-director-of-design","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/n-brown-appoints-joules-head-of-design-helen-low-as-new-director-of-design\/","title":{"rendered":"N Brown appoints Joules Head of Design Helen Low as new Director of Design"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/n-brown-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">N Brown Group<\/a><\/span> has appointed current Joules Head of Design Helen Low as the group\u2019s new Director of Design, commencing 21 November 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Low has been in her role at Joules since November 2020 and previously spent three years as Design Director of womenswear at Debenhams.<\/p>\n<p>With over 25 years experience in the fashion industry, she has also held senior design positions at George at Asda, Marks and Spencer and Next.<\/p>\n<p>The current Director of Design at N Brown Group, Neil Hendy, confirmed his decision to leave the business earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting into Sarah Welsh, CEO of Retail at N Brown, Low will focus on continuing to build on the product handwriting evolution which has been delivered within the past two years under Hendy\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n<p>A key focus for the group is to drive a more distinct customer proposition across N Brown\u2019s strategic brands,<strong> Simply Be, JD Williams and Jacamo,<\/strong> by creating a clearly defined product handwriting.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Welsh, CEO of Retail at N Brown, said: \u201cHelen will bring a huge amount of passion and expertise to N Brown. She has a wealth of design, innovation and strategy experience from across the fashion industry and will instantly become a valued member of our team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe joins us at a really exciting time for the business as we continue to elevate our fashion proposition through our differentiated brand portfolio to make our customers look and feel amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Helen Low commented: \u201cI am excited to be joining a business with such a distinct and inclusive portfolio of well-loved brands.
