Flannels<\/span><\/a> has hailed a \"dynamic shift\" in the fashion rental market with its new service, launched in partnership with HURR, featuring an edit of \"disruptive\" brands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Unveiled today at www.flannelsrental.com<\/a><\/span>, the service offers brands such as\u00a0Area, Coperni,\u00a0Mugler, Maisie Wilen, Dion Lee, 16Arlington<\/strong> for rental for periods of\u00a04, 8, 10 and 20 days.<\/p>\n

The Frasers Group-owned luxury retailer said that its service injected \"modernity and fashion relevance to the booming online clothing rental market\",<\/strong> which is predicted to hit\u00a0$7 billion (\u00a36.08bn) in value by 2025.<\/p>\n

Rental platform HURR will power the logistics behind the online service, which offers national delivery, but the service will also take physical form with\u00a0a dedicated space in the retailer\u2019s\u00a0Liverpool flagship store in 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

By selecting up-and-coming and disruptive brands, Flannels said it was encouraging its shoppers to experiment with fashion while also introducing the brands to its fashion heartland of young, luxury fashion shoppers.<\/p>\n

Highlights of the rental edit include\u00a0a studded pink iteration of Coperni\u2019s \u2018it\u2019 Swipe bag,<\/strong> Dion Lee\u00a0corsets and a wide array of sequinned 16Arlington midi and mini dresses.<\/p>\n

David Epstein, Managing Director at Flannels said: \u201cThe launch of Flannels rental is a pivotal\u00a0moment for the business.<\/strong> Customer experience and innovation are at the centre of our strategy\u00a0and the rental market is a key area of opportunity and growth within our young\u00a0consumer base\u00a0that we\u2019re keen to incorporate within our digital and physical retail model.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rental is the latest innovation at Flannels, which last year launched its new Flannels Beauty concept and which has also been rapidly rolling out new flagship stores such as the Liverpool \"mega-store\" opened in the summer.<\/p>\n
