{"id":214458,"date":"2022-08-18T07:29:20","date_gmt":"2022-08-18T06:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/?p=214458"},"modified":"2022-08-18T17:56:27","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T16:56:27","slug":"vuori-to-open-its-first-uk-store-in-covent-garden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/vuori-to-open-its-first-uk-store-in-covent-garden\/","title":{"rendered":"Vuori to open its first UK store in Covent Garden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>US-based activewear brand Vuori, which was valued at \u00a33 billion last year, has announced the opening of its first UK store, located in London's Covent Garden.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Founded by Joe Kudla in 2015 in California, the first UK Vuori store will open in September at 25 Long Acre, Covent Garden, showcasing an extensive collection of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s activewear collections.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring a clean, modern design, complemented by earthy elements such as birchwood and lots of natural light, the 1,000 sq ft store brings to life the laidback Californian lifestyle aesthetic and story of the brand.<\/p>\n<p>Launched first with a strategic focus on menswear, Vuori takes inspiration from the active coastal Californian lifestyle. Womenswear was introduced in 2018 in response to overwhelming demand.<\/p>\n<p>First launched in the UK earlier this year, Vouri is stocked across all four <strong>Selfridges<\/strong> locations and online, as well as 20 <strong>Cotswold Outdoor<\/strong> stores and 11 <strong>Barry's Bootcamp<\/strong> locations.<\/p>\n<p>The company has also launched in <strong>Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the Netherlands<\/strong>, where it is also partnering with wholesaler Bever.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Kudla, Founder &amp; CEO, said: \u201cCovent Garden is the perfect location for Vuori in London for our first international store \u2013 a thriving destination for DTC brands, with a daily community of UK and international consumers.
