{"id":211106,"date":"2022-06-28T08:58:52","date_gmt":"2022-06-28T07:58:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/?p=211106"},"modified":"2022-06-28T19:17:17","modified_gmt":"2022-06-28T18:17:17","slug":"carvela-and-mint-velvet-to-make-st-davids-cardiff-debuts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/carvela-and-mint-velvet-to-make-st-davids-cardiff-debuts\/","title":{"rendered":"Carvela and Mint Velvet set to make St David\u2019s Cardiff debut"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Fashion brands Carvela and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/mint-velvet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mint Velvet<\/a><\/span> are set to open at<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/st-davids-cardiff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> St David\u2019s Cardiff<\/a><\/span> later this year, both marking their regional debuts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Spanning 2,130 sq ft on the Grand Arcade, Carvela\u2019s first standalone Welsh boutique will feature the brand's range of shoes, bags and accessories.<\/p>\n<p>Mint Velvet's new store will cover 3,700 sq ft on The Hayes, offering the brand\u2019s seasonal apparel, footwear and accessory collections.<\/p>\n<p>The two brands will join the shopping centre's existing stores including <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/hobbs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hobbs<\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/kurt-geiger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kurt Geiger<\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/phase-eight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Phase Eight<\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/reiss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reiss<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Nik Porter, Head of Retail Brand Account Management at Landsec, said: \"We\u2019re excited to be welcoming both brands to St David\u2019s for their regional debuts. Over the past 12 months, leading brands including Carvela, Mint Velvet, ZARA, Hobbs, and Phase Eight have all chosen to make their regional debut at St David\u2019s, cementing it as the go to destination for retail in Wales.\"<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Pugh, Head of Carvela Buying &amp; Merchandise, said: \"Signing for our first Welsh dedicated store is another great step forward for Carvela. St David\u2019s is a destination with a huge draw for our customers, and one we have been targeting as part of our nationwide expansion for some time.
