Following her debut solo runway show in February 2022, Robyn Lynch's second London Fashion Week show was met with an equally rapturous reception as the first.

Presenting at the Truman Brewery space in East London, Lynch's SS23 collection once again took inspiration from her family wardrobe - a T-shirt from her mum’s holiday to Mallorca in 1983 printed with acid house smiley faces and saucy references to raving under the sun.

The Mallorca acid tee led the Irish designer to a hunt on eBay for souvenir t-shirts of all shapes and sizes – the naughtiest, ugliest and funniest.

A favourite from the online trawl was a t-shirt with "I caught crabs in Brighton" reimagined in a light jacquard knit created in fine Italian yarn, alongside semi-transparent nylon trousers, sleeveless knitted vests, mini shorts, nylon sports jackets and mid-shorts.

The colours of SS23 form the ultimate summer palette: brick orange and charcoal brown complemented with sand beige and yellow mustard. Seasonal textiles include natural fibres and specially dyed nylons made out of Seaqual yarn that’s woven out of ocean waste while a range of customised Crocs was crafted to match the full look.
