{"id":208594,"date":"2022-05-27T08:00:03","date_gmt":"2022-05-27T07:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/?p=208594"},"modified":"2022-05-27T16:40:49","modified_gmt":"2022-05-27T15:40:49","slug":"in-the-style-raises-500000-for-the-bowelbabe-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/in-the-style-raises-500000-for-the-bowelbabe-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"In The Style raises \u00a3500,000 for The Bowelbabe Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/in-the-style\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In The Style<\/a><\/span> has raised half a million pounds in aid of Dame Deborah James' <\/strong><strong>The Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The funds have been<strong> raised through the sale of the \u2018Rebellious Hope\u2019 t-shirt<\/strong>, the first item to be unveiled from In The Style\u2019s Dame Deborah James collection, as well as from the sale of products within the full collection following its launch yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Available in sizes 6-28, <strong>the new collection features 18 items<\/strong> including dresses, skirts, blazers, shirts and blouses, t-shirts and hair accessories, with each piece inspired by the British summertime and activities that Dame Deborah loves.<\/p>\n<p>The Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK supports causes and projects such as funding clinical trials and research into personalised medicine that could result in new treatments for cancer patients. Along with supporting campaigns to raise awareness of cancer. Since The Bowelbabe Fund was announced, it has surpassed \u00a36 million in donations.<\/p>\n<p>Adam Frisby, In The Style Founder &amp; Chief Brand Officer, said: \u201cI am absolutely delighted that we have managed to raise \u00a3500,000 for The Bowel Babe Fund in just a few days since releasing the t-shirt and more recently, the full collection. I want to say a huge thank you to both In The Style and Deborah\u2019s followers for the huge support they have shown. It will make such a huge impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so thrilled for Deborah, speaking to her last night she was overwhelmed with happiness at how people have supported the collection and just how much it has raised. It was a dream for Deborah to be able to see this launch happen.
