Branding and manufacturing company Avery Dennison has launched a new product embellishment system for apparel and footwear called Embelex, which will \u201cpush the boundaries of apparel customisation and personalisation\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The launch of Embelex follows Avery Dennison\u2019s recent acquisition of Rietveld (RTVPRINT), a woven and heat transfer label production facility for embellishment services, which is based in the Netherlands and Turkey.<\/p>\n

Avery Dennison is already a global supplier of on-product branding and supporting technology, helping bring brands and sports teams to life through heat transfers, embroidery, patches and badges.<\/p>\n

The launch of Embelex will now see the company put a focus on fashion brands and retailers, where customisation can give them a point of difference.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jeremy Bauer,\u00a0Global Commercial Director,\u00a0Embelex\u00a0at Avery Dennison RBIS,\u00a0said: \u201cOur\u00a0on-product branding is\u00a0already seen around the world on some of the biggest names in sports, including the English Premier League, Barcelona and Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut\u00a0Embelex\u2019s\u00a0reach extends far beyond the pitch, from high fashion brands to high street retailers where\u00a0leading designers, brands,\u00a0and apparel suppliers are using decorative elements to bring their designs to life.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the past three years, the size of Avery Dennison\u2019s\u00a0on-product branding\u00a0business has doubled due to\u00a0the\u00a0demand for its services. Through its own research, the company has discovered fashion and sportswear brands\u00a0want to offer differentiated SKUs, such as personalised prints and applications, to \u201cstay\u00a0relevant and competitive in today\u2019s crowded apparel market\u201d.<\/p>\n

Additionally, global research by\u00a0Accenture<\/a>\u00a0has found that 84% of consumers are interested in personalised products, and many would\u00a0not hesitate to pay more to get them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
