{"id":194589,"date":"2022-01-27T17:24:02","date_gmt":"2022-01-27T17:24:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/?p=194589"},"modified":"2022-01-27T20:35:55","modified_gmt":"2022-01-27T20:35:55","slug":"skechers-set-to-open-another-store-in-westfield-stratford","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/skechers-set-to-open-another-store-in-westfield-stratford\/","title":{"rendered":"Skechers set to open another store in Westfield Stratford"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Footwear company <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/skechers\/\">Skechers<\/a><\/span> is set to open another store in Westfield Stratford this year, close-by to its existing retail outlet in the shopping mall.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The new retail location is located on the ground floor, in between skateboard shoe brand Vans and lingerie label Anne Summers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Westfield Stratford has an existing Skechers store located on the same floor, two stores to the right of the new location.<\/strong> The footwear chain also has a shop in Westfield London, as well as five more located across London.<\/p>\n<p>Skechers is an American company with headquarters in Manhattan Beach, California. <strong>Founded in 1992, it has grown to be the third largest athletic footwear brand in the United States<\/strong>, selling lifestyle and performance footwear for men, women and kids as well apparel and accessories.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The company has a global store portfolio of 4,170 across more than 170 countries.<\/strong> Last December <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/skechers-announces-q3-sales-increase-but-lowers-full-year-expectations\/\">Skechers announced financial results for the third quarter<\/a><\/span>, ending 30 September 2021. The results showed a year-over-year sales increase of 19.2%, reaching a total of $1.55 billion.
