{"id":187639,"date":"2021-11-23T14:15:19","date_gmt":"2021-11-23T14:15:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/?p=187639"},"modified":"2021-11-23T18:30:40","modified_gmt":"2021-11-23T18:30:40","slug":"diesel-launches-nft-trainer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/diesel-launches-nft-trainer\/","title":{"rendered":"Diesel launches NFT trainer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/diesel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Diesel<\/span><\/a> has announced the launch of its first NFT trainer, designed by Glenn Martens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Called the Prototype, Diesel is introducing the new unisex trainer as part of an \u201cintense repositioning\u201d of the brand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diesel has exclusively partnered with neuno.io, a start-up platform aiming to become the luxury NFT marketplace, to recreate the Prototype 3D design as a limited-edition NFT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Creative Director at Diesel and the Y\/Project, Glenn Martens, has designed the black, white and red trainer, featuring rubber straps, asymmetric lacing, an industrial outsole tread and rubber overlays.<\/p>\n<p>Paris-based Martens was formerly a guest designer of the experimental capsule series Diesel Red Tag in 2018. The designer has since been awarded the ANDAM fashion prize, of which Diesel parent OTB is a mentor and sponsor.<\/p>\n<p>The physical shoe will be available online and in Diesel stores worldwide, with additional colour options dropping in February 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Diesel is joining a wave of fashion brands launching NFTs, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/burberry-unveils-first-nft-collection-with-mythical-games-blankos-block-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Burberry<\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/givenchy-steps-into-digital-fashion-with-new-nft-collection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Givenchy<\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/the_directory\/louis-vuitton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Louis Vuitton<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":100,"featured_media":187823,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_exactmetrics_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[9763,6,10494,10497],"tags":[10660,9875,21875,19004,21876],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Diesel launches NFT trainer - TheIndustry.fashion<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Diesel has announced the launch of its first NFT trainer, designed by Glenn Martens.
