{"id":185392,"date":"2021-11-05T11:40:58","date_gmt":"2021-11-05T11:40:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/?p=185392"},"modified":"2021-11-05T18:35:08","modified_gmt":"2021-11-05T18:35:08","slug":"decathlon-uk-launches-new-fund-supporting-active-lifestyles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theindustry.fashion\/decathlon-uk-launches-new-fund-supporting-active-lifestyles\/","title":{"rendered":"Decathlon UK launches new fund supporting active lifestyles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sports and outerwear retailer Decathlon has unveiled its new Health and Wellbeing Community Fund, sponsoring physical activity and local sporting partnerships<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In partnership with Art-Invest Real Estate, the fund will support active lifestyles in London's Canada Water region.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership will spend <strong>\u00a3200,000 over the next five years to sponsor initiatives, events and activities<\/strong> to benefit the local community.<\/p>\n<p>This follows the launch of the Canada Water Dockside project, which is currently facing a six-year development plan to will invest and contribute towards Canada Water\u2019s town centre.<\/p>\n<p>Delphine Mazillier, Decathlon UK\u2019s Community Impact Manager, said: \u201cCanada Water was the site of our first UK store and is our UK headquarters, so this five-year partnership shows our commitment to serving the local community is as strong as it has ever been.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to inspire everyone to lead healthy and physically active lifestyles and the best way to do this is by directly engaging with our local community.\"<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":100,"featured_media":185406,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_exactmetrics_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[6,10494],"tags":[19801,15124,21015,10160],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
