Manchester's iconic Arndale has announced the signing of Kurt Geiger<\/a> and Carvela to the city centre shopping destination.<\/strong><\/p>\n Located close to Manchester Piccadilly Station, Manchester Arndale is home to over 200 stores including Zara<\/a>, Next<\/a>, Allsaints<\/a> and H&M<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kurt Geiger, which has been designing for more than 50 years and creates handbags and footwear for men and women, will be opening a 2,195 sq ft store. <\/strong><\/p>\n The brand values itself on being inclusive, offering kindness and embracing creativity. It encourages people to be confident and \"truly themselves\", no matter where they are in the world.<\/p>\n Carvela will occupy a nearby 2,447 sq ft unit<\/strong>. It is a sister brand of Kurt Geiger and has a range of styles and accessories, including trainers, heels and ankle boots along with bags, phone cases and sunglasses.<\/p>\n Colin Flinn, non-executive director and spokesperson for Manchester Arndale, said: \u201cWe want to ensure Manchester Arndale remains an exciting and progressive place for all of our customers to visit. Introducing popular high-end retail brands such as Kurt Geiger and Carvela will help to strengthen its position as one of the \u2018go-to\u2019 shopping destinations in the northwest.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cManchester Arndale is an iconic city centre destination which sits in the heart of the community. Over time, we have continued to widen our base of occupiers, bringing in a diverse set of retailers alongside leisure and lifestyle operators, supported by a wide-ranging food and beverage offer. We\u2019re looking forward to sharing more exciting news about other new occupiers in the months to come.\u201d<\/p>\n Manchester Arndale has also recently secured the renewal of leases from existing tenants including Apple, Deichmann, River Island<\/a> and Sock Shop.<\/p>\n
